Events and participation
Help shape practical learning sessions and respectful community conversations.
Resource orientation
A proposed introductory session would show how to find official court information, use a blank timeline, and prepare questions for a professional. The intended takeaway is a personal preparation checklist, not instructions about a participant’s legal case.
Start now with the Academy.
Document organization workshop
A proposed demonstration would use fictional sample records to practice dates, source labels, exhibit lists, and readable copies. Participants would keep their own documents private.
Try the timeline worksheet and exhibit index.
Community listening session
A proposed facilitated discussion would gather feedback on resource gaps and access barriers. Participation would be optional, with no requirement to tell a personal story or identify another person.
Recording, accessibility arrangements, participation rules, and facilitator responsibilities would need to be agreed before any session.
Offer time or expertise
Potential contributions include checking links, improving accessible documents, facilitating respectful discussions, and reviewing educational material within your qualifications.
Send your interests and general availability through Contact. Do not send identification documents or member records in an initial inquiry.
What a confirmed announcement should include
Look for the date and time zone, location or meeting format, audience, named organizer, accessibility contact, cost and cancellation terms if any, privacy and recording arrangements, and a clear registration method. A sponsor or speaker is not confirmed until named in an approved announcement.
