Understand the payment before acting
MTM does not make a claim on this page that a payment is tax-deductible. A membership price, payment confirmation, or supporter label is not a determination of tax treatment.
Before making a payment, confirm the recipient’s legal identity, what you will receive, whether it recurs, the cancellation or refund terms, and what acknowledgment will be provided. Use Contact for questions about MTM’s published information.
Keep a clear record
If you have already made a payment, keep the date, amount, recipient name, and confirmation from the payment provider. If you need a correction, describe the issue without sending card numbers, passwords, or private account credentials.
This page does not promise automated annual summaries, a particular receipt format, or a charitable allocation within a membership payment.
Check authoritative tax information
The IRS provides Tax Exempt Organization Search to check organization information and eligibility to receive deductible contributions. This link is not verification of MTM’s status.
For payments involving benefits, see the IRS’s guidance on contributions made in exchange for goods or services. Ask your own tax professional about your circumstances; no fixed membership deduction or benefit valuation is established here.
